Lubri-Loy, in a step consistent with its core environmental values, became a founding member of the EPA's "SmartWay" program in 2004. The SmartWay brand represents a partnership among government, business and consumers to protect the environment, reduce fuel consumption, and improve air quality by identifying products and services that reduce transportation-related emissions. Lubri-Loy's authorization to be identified as a SmartWay brand validates the success of its ongoing efforts to manufacture products such as Diesel Fix, a fuel treatment that saves fuel and increases performance while at the same time reduces black smoke emissions.
